Pi Validator

Plug in. Start earning.

Turn a Raspberry Pi 4 into the supported floor of the Asentum validator network. Earn ASE rewards, help secure a post-quantum chain, and pay less in electricity than a cup of coffee per year. The smallest possible setup, and proof that the network really runs on real hardware.

Hardware Specs

The supported floor fits in your palm

Raspberry Pi 4

4 GB RAM, quad-core ARM Cortex-A72, USB SSD. The supported floor for an Asentum validator — proof the chain runs on real hardware.

64GB SD Card

Class 10 microSD. Stores the full chain state and node software with room to spare.

5 Watts

~$5/year in electricity. Less than charging your phone.

How It Works

Four steps to validator status

01

Flash & Boot

Flash Raspberry Pi OS Lite to an SD card or USB SSD. Plug in power and Ethernet. SSH in.

02

Install & Sync

A single one-line CLI command installs the Asentum node binary. Chain sync runs from a recent snapshot.

03

Bond ASE

Generate a validator key, bond the minimum ASE stake, and set your commission rate (capped at 20%) and validator name.

04

Join the Committee

Run `asentum validator start`. Once the stake-weighted lottery selects you, you're producing blocks and earning rewards.

Earnings

Earn ASE while you sleep

Active committee validators earn a share of block rewards plus EIP-1559 priority tips, plus commissions on delegated stake. Final emission and reward parameters lock before mainnet — testnet validators help us tune them with real data.

Block Rewards

A share of the per-block emission, paid to active committee members. Final curve locks before mainnet.

Priority Tips

EIP-1559 priority tips paid by users wanting faster inclusion. The base fee is burned; the tip goes to the proposer.

Delegations

Earn a commission (capped at 20%) on rewards from ASE delegated to your validator. Cosmos-style shared slashing.
